Old Trafford was predominately populated by houses until the late 1990’s when some of the first large apartment blocks were built; Madison Apartments was one of the first developments and sold out within 48 Hours! Soon to be followed by many more purpose-built and refurbished apartments.
Old Trafford has many key landmarks with Manchester United and Old Trafford Cricket ground being the most notable. It’s a busy place with great commuter connections to cater for the 70,000 visiting the football on a regular basis. There is also access via the canal and the tram.
The newest addition to Old Trafford is the football-themed hotel to be opened in 2014 it’s a scheme by Manchester United stars Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville with a football pitch on the roof.
Old Trafford has many smaller village-type shops but also has a Tesco extra and a retail park, so something for everyone.

Some good starter homes, extremely handy for the City Centre, especially for the restaurants. The location is perfect to Castlefield without having to cross the City Centre, If you’re a red then it’s the perfect place for you!
