The Property Market in Manchester and at Salford Quays

As the winter is fast approaching and apartments are looking all the more attractive with no gardens to maintain, less traveling and more time to enjoy ourselves City and Salford Quays living comes to life, many new developments are completing in exciting times at the Quays.

mediacity:uk will create 15,500 new jobs and create seven million square feet of new and refurbished floor space for business, retail and residential properties. Over the last five years we have seen tremendous growth with City Lofts, NV and Millennium all achieving completion.

Some of these developments have been caught in the recession but some very positive signs are now being seen with a lot of investors dipping their toes back into the property market. Demand is high at the Quays and like many agents Julie Twist Properties and JJT Residential Services Ltd (JTP’s sister company located in the heart of Salford Quays) both need more stock on the rental side to see them through the busy period that is now fast approaching.

In the city the market has been stronger than many areas throughout the recession with many property owners needing to move and looking to rent to see them through possibly one of the most difficult years many will remember. However, savvy investors are coming out of the woodwork and seeing the benefit of buying at the bottom of the market.

JJT and Julie Twist Properties complement each other and stand out of the crowd as they work as a very close team. We attract the same clients, sell and rent apartments within our specific locations, yet attract clients from a wider area. When a property is placed on our books it is immediately added to both offices and all the portals – Rightmove, Find a Property, The Digital Property Group, Zoopla (who are now partnered with eBay), Google and gum tree – gaining a massive audience within seconds of instruction.

Our success comes from honesty, knowledge and a lot of hard work. Many properties are currently being let within hours of instruction and the number of sales achieved is above target, all in all making a very successful team.
